The Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé is AMG's two-door sports car, and the version Mercedes-Benz South Africa lists is the plug-in hybrid GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE. It belongs to the current C192 generation of the two-door GT, and should not be confused with the separate four-door GT model. It went on sale locally in June 2025.

The drivetrain pairs a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with a 150 kW electric motor at the rear, and the combined output is sent to all four wheels through AMG Performance 4MATIC+. Mercedes-AMG claims 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.

The car can be plugged in and driven about 13 km on electric power alone. A 2+2 layout is available, adding two small rear seats behind the front pair.
